Ahjarah : Thank you.


 E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏿: So can we get to meet you? Your name, your grade and age?


 Ahjarah : My name is Ahjarah Akande, I am in primary four, I am 10 years old.


E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏿: Awesome. Ahjarah would it be right to say one of your passions is Storytelling?


Ahjarah : Yes ma


E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏿: Great! So tell us more about what inspires your Storytelling Art.


Ahjarah : It all just started when I was imagining

 myself in front of an audience and I began to recite a poem, and when I  started saying the words, I just formed up a poem and then my mom really liked the poem. And then, I began to like writing poems and tell stories.

Ahjarah : Yes ma

Can you tell us about your Creative Writing, Storytelling and Voiceover Courses you've taken thus far?


Ahjarah : That is actually the only course I've taken before.


E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏾: Okay..which course is that?


Ahjarah : Content Creative Writing and Voice over


E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏿: With E PLUS The Storyteller?


Ahjarah : Yes ma


E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏿: 👍🏾: Can you share some of the things you've gained from The Creative Content Writing, Storytelling and Voiceover with E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏽?


Ahjarah: In content and creative writing I learnt figures of speech;  personification, hyperbole, symbolism, metaphor and simile.


 E PLUS The Storyteller ✍🏿: Okay 👍And I guess, even more.


Ahjarah: And in Creative Voice over Artistry, I learnt how to speak in front of the audience, using the appropriate words, the different types of tones which are the sober tone, the instructive tone, the enlightening tone, the anticipation tone, the excitement tone, the appealing tone and the unappealing tone.

Ahjarah : It's about how I spend my day.

The Wailing Creatures  W ritten by Sumayyah Oluwafunbi Ogunsola     With a big smile on and shiny gleaming teeth plastered on my sweaty face, I step inside the dusty building with the big bold inscription: ‘ WELCOME TO THE ZOO!’  As I walk around with my black heels making a pit-pat, click-clack sound, my eager brown irises get locked in a trance with the brownish red Hawaiian bird. The bird’s fluffy feathers gently ruffles, and his sad eyes stare at mine. ’13 YEARS OLD’ the sign on the cage says. I take a deep, heavy breath and trudge forward.           “Oooh!” the wail of a mama chimpanzee reaches my sensitive ears, causing my skin to have a minute goosebumps.    Heartbreaking scene of a mother chimpanzee and her child in black, rusted chains and anguished expressions on their faces, permanently etches itself in my head. ‘MOTHER: 29.       That’s NOT my Father!       Sumayyah Oluwafunbi  Ogunsola              It’s a bleak, dark late evening accompanied by torrent of rain and the howling of the wind; the power is out. My father and I sit down in the parlour, looking at each other and sighing in disappointment, as our fun day out was ruined. I glance at our pet cat, Tata, to see that she is fast asleep.               Exasperated, my father launches himself on the sofa and says to me, “I am going to get Starbucks. Wait for me.” Worried, I respond “In the rain, and at this time, dad? You have heard how dangerous people lurk in the cloak of darkness...” He cuts me off.
